ESH Hotel

NOSARA, COSTA RICA

Opened in December 2024, ESH is a boutique hotel in the heart of Nosara, designed by Mexican firm Sulkin Askenazi in collaboration with Costa Rican architects FAMM.
Melissa was brought on to lead the interior design and decoration, shaping the space with a refined, grounded approach that complements the minimalist architecture.

Her role included sourcing and curating all furniture and finishes across the villas, restaurant, bar, lounges, and pool areas. She custom-designed the bar and sculptural lighting, and worked closely with Costa Rican artisans to produce original lamps and paintings—bringing local craftsmanship and materiality into every detail.
